Lisa Praël
PHYSIOTHERAPIST – BHSCPT, BSC, CGIMS
Lisa graduated from the University of Victoria in 1994 and the McMaster University Physiotherapy program in 1999.
Before moving back to Victoria in 2006, Lisa worked in various different clinics in Australia, Whistler and Vancouver.
She has worked with sports teams including the Junior Freestyle ski team, and at sporting events including tennis, beach soccer and ultimate frisbee tournaments.
Lisa treats a wide variety of injuries including: shoulder, low back, neck, pre and post-partum dysfunction, workplace injuries, motor vehicle accidents, and a wide variety of sports related injuries. Her post-graduate training includes advanced manual therapy courses, as well as shoulder, low back, and neck rehabilitation and Pilates.
She completed her Intermediate Manual Therapy level, certifying her to do extremity and some spinal manipulations. She has completed her Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation course (IMS) certification.
Lisa will be happy to treat a wide variety of problems using a combination of manual therapy, specific and general exercise, core stabilization and modalities.
